Business in a Fast-Changing World

To begin, a discussion of some recent trends in our society which are "of major concern to business people today." A review of how the present situation came about. Two trends: "the risk-avoidance syndrome;" and "the new international competitors." Two alternative scenarios for the future: "a world of internal preoccupation;" and "a world of the productive society." A discussion about these trends, and a prediction about which is more likely to evolve. What must be done in Canada to effect the best scenario. The challenge for Canada and for Canadian business.
