Canadian Unity

The need to have institutions and procedures and symbols to emphasize our Canadian status, our separate identity as a nation. The traditional and the national factors in Canada's development. A few observations about the recent visit of the Queen to Canada. Some threats associated with that visit and how that was handled. Solving the problem of unity. Agreement of two matters of historic significance, at a recent Federal-Provincial Conference: to set up a tax structure committee, and a formula to repatriate the Constitution of Canada. Some words and beliefs of the speaker to show how he feels about Canada. Understanding Canada to realize its destiny. Maintaining national and political unity to be the primary objective of all the governments at all levels and all the people of Canada.
